THE STORY OF AAW
Welcome to AAW's official online wrestling club! The idea of bringing AAW into a wrestling game was conceived by Venomous Ed & back then AutisticAnge1 (now Glacier Ange1) and established in 2012 during WWE '13. Not long after that WispyBullet95, joined in as co-leader. It's major beginning all started in October 2012, as many online players began flooding into AAW, that in fact, two brands were created, Mayhem & Melee. Many matches, title defenses, including major feuds and tag teams were formed during that time period & AAW for a while ushered in a golden age from 2012-2014.
However during that time, AAW slowly started losing members. Melee went through many General Managers in particular and many of its members left for various reasons. With the release of WWE 2K17, Venomous Ed & WispyBullet95 revived the league & brought AAW back this time with just one main show, AAW Mayhem, deciding to disband AAW Melee for good. Glacier Ange1 later rejoined after a long hiatus.
Unfortunately due to certain outcomes AAW only lasted 2 years after before ultimately deciding to shut down it's doors for it's final time on XBOX ONE in late 2018 - early 2019.
During that time, the Trinity formerly known as the Bloodline all enjoyed success of varying degrees in various promotions before retiring. AAW Chairman Venomous Ed moved on from AAW appearing in a few leagues and is currently enjoying his new married life & is more or less retired from AAW. Ed has since then passed his blessing to GlacierAnge1 and WispyBullet95 to continue & "make AAW great again!". As for Glacier & Wispy, in their own time decided to jump ship to PlayStation & retire from Xbox all together & investing in other ventures.
After enjoying retirement, news of WWE 2K20's release spread across the community as well as the new introduction of AEW, sparking an old flame that WispyBullet95 could not let go un-noticed. He called on Glacier Ange1 who despite announcing his competitive retirement a few months prior, decided he wanted to end it all where it started for him, in AAW & agreed to work with Wispy, with his passion also reignited.
Now for the first time ever, Action Adrenaline Wrestling arrives on PlayStation 4 with a fresh clean slate in the first quarter of 2020. We will use this time & our past experience to make this the best that AAW has ever been for fans of wrestling. We want to create an experience that competitive players can play fun but fair challenges, while also encouraging casual newer players & giving them a space to learn the ropes of the virtual squared circle & make new friends.
